ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded a summary to the Ministry of Petroleum and Gas, seeking Rs4.92 hike in the price of petroleum products, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, the regulatory authority has recommended to increase the price of petrol by Rs3.07 per liter.
The summary further proposed to increase price of high speed diesel by Rs1.52 per liter, kerosene oil by Rs3.94, light speed diesel by Rs4.92 and high octane by Rs4.60 per liter.
The ministry will issue final notification by 12:00am today after the Prime Minister’s approval. Revised prices will be applicable from April 1.
Currently, petrol is being sold at Rs 62.77 per litre and high speed diesel at Rs 71.12 per liter.
