The ill-fated bus collided with the trailer coming from opposite direction on a major highway in the central part of the country s east Punjab province.

The coach, which was heading toward Rawalpindi district from Layyah district, overturned after the collision on MM Road near Chandni Chowk in Mianwali which resulted in the large number of casualties.

The injured people, including women and children, were shifted to a nearby hospital, where several of them are said to be in critical condition.
