ISLAMABAD () – Remaining 18 Pakistani traders deported from Moscow, out of a total 48 who were sent to Turkey, reached home back to Pakistan early Saturday morning. The Pakistani businessmen arrived in Islamabad through flight TK-710 via Turkey. Families of the deported traders welcomed them at the Islamabad airport.
Earlier, 30 of the traders had also arrived back home.
150 Pakistani businessmen were taken to Russia by a private company to take part in an exhibition and later 84 of them were detained at Moscow airport without citing any reason for their detention while 48 were deported to Pakistan.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria had earlier said that the Foreign Office directed RussianEmbassy to help release the stranded Pakistani traders’ in Russia.
