Application filed against Nisar upon removal..

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – An application was filed against Federal Minister of Interior Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday in the Islamabad High Court upon the omission of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL),
The application was filed by a citizen named Shahzad Orakzai who has pleaded that it was not the Supreme Court but the government who allowed the former president to travel abroad after removing his name from the ECL whilst a case regarding treason was being carried out against him.
A show cause notice on the basis of contempt of court has been issued against the Nisar. Hearing on the complaint has been postponed till March 29.
Federal government issued a notification regarding removal of Musharraf’s name from the ECL on the basis of which the former president was able to leave the country and go to Dubai.
